Whitesands restaurant serves a vast selection of food from 8.30am - 9.30pm and a wide selection of beverages up to 11.00pm. You can start your day with a full English breakfast menu which is available up till 12.30 and includes some of the best produce from our area, Free range eggs from the farm along with oak smoked salmon from the fishmongers plus award winning sausages from our local butcher are some of what's on offer along with a varied selection of vegetarian options.
The restaurant is tastefully decorated with artefacts, which have been collected by the owners from around the world, and has a strong African influence, brown leather chairs and sofas with a splash of leopard print blend well with the huge granite fire place which frames a tropical aquarium.
The lounge bar area offers an all day bar menu from 12.30-9.30pm designed for those of you who want a more reasonable selection from a lighter menu of anything from pannini's filled with goats cheese, chorizo, sun blushed tomatoes and rocket salad to tapas, warm chocolate brownies with Cornish ice cream, or the obligatory Newlyn crab sandwich with lime mayo.
If that doesn't tempt you, our restaurant menu available from 12.30 - 2.30pm and 5.30 - 8.30pm is designed to suit our foreign visitors as well as our discerning English family and ranges from a whitesands burger to a thai green curry, pizzas and pastas along with a children's menu and vegetarian options perfect for those of you who don't eat meat or fish. But for those of you who do! Savour the delights of fresh lobster from our local harbour (to order) scallops and sea bass or the best cuts of meat for the grill from our award-winning butcher. All this is accompanied by a worldwide selection of drinks from our wine champagne and cocktail menu along with cold beers or lagers. If you still have room available you can choose from our delicious dessert menu before having an espresso in the beautiful garden room and TV lounge.
With all the food either grown/made or sourced by ourselves and invariably prepared by the owner it's no surprise to know that Whitesands Seafood Restaurant Lands End gets fully booked very quickly so you will need to book in advance. Family sittings are from 5.30 - 6.30 pm and adults only from 7.00 - 8.00 pm for those romantics who like child free zones. You can eat in our restaurant if the weather is not so forgiving, al fresco in the shade of our African umbrellas or on the oak decking in our secret walled garden.
